My twelve-month-old daughter has just got a wonderful set of baby bedding for her first birthday. The bedding set goes with a colouful blanket decorated with the same kind of patterns. I"m really happy with that present because she will also be able to use the set when she gets older. The bedding and the blanket are both decorated with twenty different pictures of animal that are at the same time examples of various professions. For example, there is a teddy bear who"s a nurse, an elephant who"s a postman and an owl who"s a teacher. The pictures were first drawn by a famous illustrator of children"s books. I have seen several of her illustrations in my daughters" books. The animals are not actually printed on the bedding. They are embroidered on it, which is something really uncommon nowadays. Such a set must have cost a lot of money. This baby bedding is not available in our country but I guess that it might become really popular soon. More and more companies that produce clothes and accessories for kids decided to use eco-friendly fabrics and change their methods to more traditional. Hand-knit blankets are becoming trendy again, and there surely be demand for embroidered items again.
